Job Introduction
We’re looking for an exceptional Employee Experience Associate to help us make a difference to our planet.
As our Employee Experience Associate the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.
Our opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week, but we would also consider applicants wishing to work a minimum of 32 hours per week and we will also try our best to consider those intending to work a job share. Our people are at the heart of what we do and we'll do our best to agree a working pattern that works for everyone.
Whilst this is a temporary position until 6 months, there is potential for it to develop into a permanent position.

Your world of expertise
You will deliver excellent customer service and provide proactive support to guide our colleagues and managers through their employee lifecycle processes. Working as part of the employee experience team you will respond to and resolve a wide range of enquiries from across the organisation to contribute to making it a great place to work.
Your key duties:
- Responsible for handling generalist queries anything from general enquiries and payroll to early employee relations support.
- Working better together collaboratively with the immediate team will be critical to ensuring colleagues are given an excellent and timely level of service and can receive professional, reliable, and accurate advice to progress their requirements.
- Using teamwork, positivity and innovative thinking along with the potential of AI approaches to improve ways of working.
- Support continuous service improvement so we can provide the best customer service.
- Be a passionate people professional promoting wellbeing, EDI and supporting ethical practice.

As our Employee Experience Associate, your total reward package will be up to £40,524 annually, which includes:
- £28,600 base pay
- An outstanding Civil Service pension, with an average employer contribution of 28.97%
- Annual Leave starting at 27.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) rising to 32.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 5 years and option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year of annual leave
Essential Criteria, skills and experience:
- You can demonstrate how you keep evolving to improve a process or area you are responsible for.
- Experience of working better together as part of a team delivering excellent customer service across a range of different areas.
- You are an expert by nature personally providing customer service to users in a complex organisation.
- You can explain how you live and breathe your passion for being part of the people profession and developing your expertise.
- Experience of using AI approaches to improve efficiency in your work or the service you provide.
